Have you ever thought we are riding into space where we learn, execute, invest, and connect with so many new people!
We have indeed come a long way in the NFT space, and we have been seeing many projects coming in and people investing in this space.
But let's get into some flashbacks and gather insights into how NFT and Web 3.0 create this hype.
For anyone who started with this space, the first thing we learnt/understood is the concept of Web 3.0 and how it is different from what we are used to on the internet today, i.e. Web 2.0.
Web 2.0 was mainly about information sharing and social media, while Web 3.0 is more about value transfer and decentralization.
But there are indeed certain things like community and content which create a balance between both the spaces.
NFT might be like early social media days for us where people used to drive for followers, likes, etc.
In NFT, money was or maybe still is the driving force.
It also reminded me of the times when affiliate marketing was in a boom, and there were too many scams involved.
And a JorrDaar part is that I was also into Affiliate Marketing in 2013. I came across this banner about 'how to make money online', and 'how to make an additional $5000 a month'.
And like many others, I also clicked on the link and started doing Affiliate Marketing.
Similarly, in the NFT space, maybe people see Discord with so many people, attractive utilities, fancy roadmaps, etc. But do things really work like that??!
Well, maybe not...because there is rarely anything like quick success or progress.
Even if projects with high floor prices can be a rug pull or scam, even if they have high floor prices, they might not sustain!
Another example is NFT enthusiasts seeing tweets of people with thousands of followers who are into NFTs saying that 'I received a profit or 10 ETH or 100 ETH or so in this project'.
Isn't this statement tempting? And it's natural to fall into such traps.
Moreover, most of the projects don't have a use case as of now, or they are too complicated for general people to understand and start using them.
Imagine going to a market and trying to buy things with different tokens!
So, the critical point is that we have to be really careful and do our own research before investing in any project.
The NFT culture might have started or still is at a point where flipping is natural and being tested and adapted by many.
But again, it is all about taking a risk and sacrificing your money.
But I believe that maybe if 2021 were all about PFP projects, 2022 would have started on a good note by pushing and backing projects with different use-cases.
I think it is high time that people started realizing that 'not everything which shines is gold.'
Moreover, I feel that even if some projects with a use case did not have a high ROI in the short term, they would be more valuable in the long term.
And we also have to understand that this is a new space, and even if you cannot invest in it now, it doesn't mean that the NFT space is not for you.
The above screenshot is a legit example of JorrParivar hodlers investing in JorrParivar as their 1st NFT project by saving money for months!
NFTs are for everyone and here to stay.
They have now become the mainstream.
Since the beginning, I have been saying wait until the next decade and see how JorrParivar will evolve.
There is a reason behind this. I am a firm believer that NFT might change the way we look at things.
HOLD! is the ultimate goal for any project you TRUST / BELIVE in!
So don't think much; save and invest whatever you can to stay active in this space.
But just start not for the short term but the long term.
It's all about evolution my friend and how we can make the best out of it!
This is an exciting time to be alive and I am grateful to be a part of this community.
We are constantly evolving and growing, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Let's continue this JorrDaar experience and explore things together!
